A) GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOTEL AND CONGRESS
For good cooperation – General Terms and Conditions
For the successful preparation or realisation of your event, agreements are needed that make it easier for you and us to plan your stay and also guarantee the quality of the services. Cancellations unfortunately happen, but it is still a pity when guest rooms and seminar rooms remain empty although others would have liked to come. We guarantee the confirmed booking with our reservation confirmation. We request that cancellations and changes to seminar rooms and guest rooms are only made in writing.
- Rooms or seminar packages Free of charge total cancellation of the booked rooms and the total arrangement up to 3 months before arrival.
- 3 to 1 month before the arrival date: Charge of 40% of the total arrangement price
- 4 to 1 week before the arrival date: Charge of 70% of the total arrangement price
- 7 to 1 day before the day of arrival: Charge of 90 % of the total arrangement price
- 1a) For bookings of more than 50 rooms or for bookings of the Congress Hall or Styria Hall, a total cancellation free of charge can only be made up to 5 months before the date of arrival. In case of cancellation 5 to 3 months before the arrival date, 30 % of the total arrangement price will be charged. In the event of a later cancellation, the above conditions apply.
Individual cancellations are free of charge up to 14 days before arrival date, 13 to 7 days before the arrival date 40% of the costs of the entire arrangement price, 6 days to 1 day before the arrival date 70% of the costs of the entire arrangement price and on the arrival day and in the event of no-show 100% of the costs of the entire arrangement price. In addition, cancellations up to a maximum of 5% of the total booking number can be taken into account free of charge up to one day before arrival.
For cancellations made on the day of arrival or for no-shows, the cancellation fee is 100%, unless the room(s) can still be allocated by us elsewhere. In case of illness and upon presentation of a medical certificate, we do not charge a cancellation fee.
- Room rental (for bookings without seminar flat rate or for additional rooms)
- Cancellation up to 1 month before the start of the event: Free cancellation
- Cancellation 30 to 7 days before the start of the event: Offset of 50 % of the room rental
- Cancellation within 7 days before the start of the event: Offset of 100 % of the room rental
When booking the Congress Hall or Styria Hall, the conditions of point 1a apply.
- Culinary offerings We kindly ask you to inform us of the fixed number of participants (= guaranteed number) at least 3 days before the start of the event. Deviations of the number of participants downwards from the reported guaranteed number can then be taken into account up to a maximum of 5 %. In addition, we must charge 50% from 2 to 1 day before the start of the event and 100% on the day of the event for the ordered meals. If there is a higher number of persons, charges will be invoiced accordingly.
- Invoicing prices: Our listed prices include VAT and exclude local tax. In the event of unforeseeable cost increases between the conclusion of the contract and the time the service is provided, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly. Seminar packages or overall arrangements cannot be split into their individual components in terms of price. Our seminar packages are inclusive of the services listed. Individual components thereof cannot be offset separately. The total invoice is due promptly upon receipt without deduction. In the event of late payment, interest of 1.5% per month shall accru
All special agreements must be in writing.
The organiser shall provide the billing address before the start of the event. Requests for changes after invoicing for address or company names can only be made with consideration of € 55.00 processing fee.
- Other
- We reserve the rigth to adapt our terms and conditions at any time to changed legal and/or economic conditions.
- In the event of a technical service (building services) extending beyond the agreed event period, the organiser shall be charged € 30.00 per hour for the service, or € 45.00 including VAT on Sundays and public holidays or after 6 pm.
- No food or drink of any kind may be brought into the seminar premises for consumption without the written permission of the seminar organisers.
- Should the organiser plan and organise musical performances during the event, the organiser is obliged to have this approved by the hotel. Registration regarding AKM and entertainment tax is to be carried out by the organiser. All costs incurred shall be borne by the organiser.
- Supplements or special agreements to the conditions listed here are recorded in the respective order confirmation.
- Attachment of decorative material or similar is only permitted with the consent of the management. Damage caused by improper fastenings shall be borne by the organiser.
- Termination by Schloss Seggau: Schloss Seggau is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship at any time and without giving reasons if
- 1. the event jeopardises the smooth operation of the business
- 2. the reputation and the safety of the hotel are endangered
- 3. a case of force majeure occurs
- 4. insolvency proceedings are instituted against the contractual partner
- Liability We accept no liability for loss or damage to items brought in. The organiser shall be liable without proof of fault for damage to the castle’s facilities or in-house inventory caused during assembly and dismantling and/or during the event, as well as for the loss of mobile inventory.

B) RB AND TOUR OPERATOR WITH OVERNIGHT STAY
For good cooperation– General Terms and Conditions for group reservations via travel agency for 20 persons or more with overnight stay
A successful stay requires agreements that make it easier for you and us to plan your stay and also guarantee the quality of the services. Cancellations unfortunately happen, but it is still a pity when rooms remain empty although others would have liked to come. We guarantee the confirmed booking with our reservation confirmation. Cancellations and changes to rooms must be made in writing.
- ROOM
The list of names with room assignments of the guests is available to the hotel at the latest 14 days before arrival.
We would like to point out that the rooms are ready for occupancy from 1 pm at the earliest on the day of arrival and that departure must take place by 10 am in the morning. Late check-out (until 4 pm) subject to availability: 15 Euro per person.
Free cancellation of the booked rooms and the entire arrangement up to 1 month before arrival.
– 4 to 1 week before the arrival date: Charge of 50 % of the total arrangement price
– 7 to 1 day before the day of arrival: Charge of 90 % of the total arrangement price

- b) In case of a booking of more than 50 rooms, a total cancellation free of charge can only be made up to 5 months before the arrival date. In case of cancellation 5 to 3 months before the arrival date, 30 % of the total arrangement price will be charged. In case of cancellation 3 to 1 months before the arrival date, 40 % of the total arrangement price will be charged. In the event of a later cancellation, the above conditions apply.

- For special arrangements, the respective conditions stated in the order confirmation apply.
- Cancellation by Hotel Schloss Seggau: Hotel Schloss Seggau is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship at any time and without giving reasons if 1. the booking endangers the smooth running of the business 2. the reputation as well as the safety of the hotel are endangered 3. a case of force majeure occurs
LIABILITY
We accept no liability for loss or damage to items brought in. The guest is liable without proof of fault for damage to the castle’s facilities or in-house inventory, as well as for the loss of mobile inventory.
- Jurisdiction: Leibnitz
In addition, the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Regulations shall apply.

D) GENERAL TERM AND CONDITIONS FOR HOTEL AND INDIVIDUAL GUESTS

A successful stay requires agreements that make it easier for you and us to plan your stay and also guarantee the quality of our services. Cancellations do unfortunately happen, but it is a shame when rooms remain empty, although others would have liked to come. With the reservation confirmation we guarantee you the confirmed booking.
Cancellations and changes to rooms should only be made in writing.
1. ROOMS
The following applies to room reservations:
– up to 7 days before arrival: free of charge
– 7 to 1 day before arrival: 50 % of the booked arrangement
– on the day of arrival: 100 % of the booked arrangement
Please note that early booking offers are excluded from the cancellation conditions listed.
2. INVOICING
Our prices include the specified services (e.g. half or full board). Individual components there of cannot be not be charged separately. The invoice is payable promptly before departure, without deduction.
All special agreements require a written agreement between the guests and Schloss Seggau.
The guest shall provide the billing address prior to check-in. Requests for changes to the address and/or name after or name can only be made subject to a € 10.00 processing fee.
Prices: our prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of local tax. Total arrangements cannot be split into their individual components.
3. MISCELLANEOUS
– No food or drinks may be brought into the restaurant rooms for consumption without the written permission of the hotel.
– In the case of special arrangements, the respective conditions stated in the order confirmation apply.
– Termination by Schloss Seggau: Schloss Seggau is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship at any time and without giving reasons if
1. the stay jeopardizes the smooth running of the business
2. the reputation and security of the hotel are jeopardized
3. a case of force majeure occurs
– In addition, the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Regulations apply.
4. DATA PROTECTION

the facilities of the castle or in-house inventory, as well as for loss of mobile inventory, the guest is liable without
